Blue Ride RIB and Powerboat Training extend a warm welcome to beginners. In recent years many experienced power boaters are discovering that their insurers are specifying RYA Level 2 as a minimum qualification.
Blue Ride RIB and Powerboat Training operate superb RIBs in Christchurch Bay. They offer the following RYA powerboat courses which are a mixture of theory and practical with as much time on the water as possible.

1 Day Course
Ideal course for beginners and crews - provides a great introduction to power boating.

2 Day Course
Most popular course - provides the skills and theory for competent powerboat handling.

RYA INTERMEDIATE Power
2 Day Course
Develops Level 2 skills - passage planning using traditional and electronic navigation.

ICC International Certificate of Competence
2 Day Course
Blue Ride run this qualification alongside of the RYA Level 2 course at no extra cost.
If you are planning to go boating in Europe or the Mediterranean the International Certificate of Competence is now required in most countries to hire or operate boats.
