OCEAN KAYAK - DEMO DAYS IN CHRISTCHURCH HARBOUR

With over 20 kayaks we were able to get hundreds of people on the water over the 3 days. It was great to see everyone and many thanks to all who contributed to the RNLI.

Mudeford Lifeboat Funday 2010 raised over £20,000. A big thank you to everyone who supported the Crazywater & Ocean Kayak event that raised over £600 for the RNLI.

An Ocean Kayak is the best boat for accessing the shallow areas of low tide Christchurch Harbour, Mudeford, Highcliffe, Barton, Milford On Sea, Christchurch Bay, Hurst Castle, Keyhaven, Lymington, Beaulieu River, Buclers Hard, Lepe, Calshot, Southampton Water or the many mud flats in the Solent and Isle of Wight.

Launching your sit on top kayak in Bournemouth Bay you can paddle from the beach at Southbourne, Branksome, Durley or Sandbanks .You can paddle round Boscombe pier, the new Boscombe Reef or Bournemouth pier and know that your Ocean Kayak will beat most Bournemouth canoes to the best fishing and angling locations.

Ocean kayaks are perfect for padling the River Stour or lower reaches of the River Avon, Test, Itchen or Hamble for fexploring, touring and angling. In Poole Harbour you can paddle past Poole Quay, round Brownsea Island, Furzey Island, Green Island, Long Island, Round Island or up the Wareham Channel to Wareham.

If you want to explore the Purbecks you will find that Studland, Old Harry, Swanage, Kimmeridge, Lulworth, Durdle Door, Ringstead and Weymouth are easy to reach in an Ocean Kayak. See you on the water!
